Education

The Municipality of Lorne is proud to offer quality education options for families in the region. Two school divisions serve our communities: the Prairie Spirit School Division, which provides education in English with the option of a French immersion stream, and the Division scolaire Franco-Manitobaine (DSFM), which offers a full French-language education for students from kindergarten to high school. The main office for Prairie Spirit School Division is located in Swan Lake whereas the main office for the DSFM is located in Lorette.

In addition to our schools, the municipality is home to several daycare centres that provide safe and nurturing environments for young children. Whether your family prefers an English, bilingual, or French education, there are excellent opportunities to learn and grow right here in the Municipality of Lorne.
