Chambre de Commerce | Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes
The Chambre de Commerce de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes was established more than 90 years ago during a meeting on January 22, 1920. Answering a need for greater leadership and initiative the Chambre de Commerce was responsible for a number of important community projects including bilingual signage, building and maintaining sidewalks and roads, constructing a train station and bringing electricity to the community. As the community continued to grow the Chambre de Commerce was also involved in creating the non-incorporated Village, expanding health services, establishing a water distribution system and promoting sports, recreation and tourism.
The Chambre de Commerce’s objective is to promote and care for the interests of business and commerce in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes by cultivating a dynamic economy and vibrant community in which to live, work, invest and raise a family.
